Voluntourism
Isn’t it great that while traveling you can serve a community in need and be a part of developing something substantial? The word voluntourism may seem difficult to understand, but if simply put it means that people who want to travel and at the same time volunteer for a while can do that at the same time. One no longer has to choose between a beach holiday and community development volunteering experience, no longer you have to spend huge amount to experience a culture and no longer you have to dedicate yourself for a long time period to be able to work for development projects. You can now effectively use your time and balance your time between traveling and volunteer work.
Our Voluntourism programs offer a great variety of mix of traveling options as well as volunteering placements. You can pick and choose as per your preference and time at hand. Also you can enjoy and learn from a wide range of workshops we offer during our programs. You will get an opportunity to learn Yoga and Meditation, Indian cooking, Henna making, Saree tying, Bollywood Dancing and many other cultural activities. We want all our participants get an in depth knowledge and understanding of Indian culture, hence we conduct various cultural workshops. We also encourage our volunteers to participate in local fests and festivals with local people to completely immerse themselves in Indian culture. Lot of our participants chose to live with Indian host families; living with host family is the best way to experience another culture.
India is a preferential travel destination due to its long cultural history, spiritual teachings, Yoga and meditation centers and ayurvedic and naturopathy treatments and mouth watering cuisine. India is truly diverse and exotic, which leaves an enigmatic impact on people who travel through its land.
Voluntourism is indeed the best way to travel and contribute towards people in need. Why not experience culture of India along with giving a helping hand to communities in need….. Volunteer while you travel… build a school, renovate a hospital, paint a orphan home and give a helping hand at various building and renovation projects.
