Hotel Management Internships

This Internship gives an intern the opportunity to learn about various functional areas such as Culinary; Lodging; Housekeeping; Food and Beverage; Human Resources, Customer Service and Sales & Marketing; depending on the skill set, interest and attitude of the intern to learn and explore.

An intern will mostly be engaged in tasks assigned by the hotel Manager and assist him in day today activities. He may also be assigned specific tasks to be carried out individually or with a team. Below mentioned are some of the tasks an intern may be involved in:

·         Planning and organising accommodation, catering and other hotel services; promoting and marketing the business;

·         Assisting in planning work schedules for individuals and teams;

·         Meeting and greeting customers;

·         Reviewing frequent customer complaints and comments;

·         Coordinate front-office duties

·         Part of the team organising events and conferences carried out in hotel

·         Help in supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations and furnishings;

·         Carrying out inspections of property and services;

·         Analysing sales figures and devising marketing and revenue management strategies;

Salary: Unpaid
